The Official Media of De Montfort Students
Demon Media is the award-winning media of De Montfort University Students' Union. We comprise of a fortnightly newspaper, The Demon, a radio station, Demon FM and a TV station, Demon TV.
Look for us on the news stands, on the airwaves and online. To get involved, visit the Demon Media office in the Students' Union (on the first floor of the Campus Centre) or contact Andy Schooledge, Vice President Media and Communications.
Demon FM – Our award-winning radio station!
Demon FM is the official radio station of De Montfort Students’ Union and is run by the students for the students. Demon FM has won numerous national awards for its output including specialist music shows, marketing, and, of course, its talented presenters!
Demon FM broadcasts a community radio license across Leicester on 107.5 FM and across the world at www.demonfm.co.uk live from the Students’ Union in our professional studio. As well as a variety of specialist music shows, which cater for all tastes, there are news and entertainment shows running throughout the day to keep you informed and amused.
The Demon – Your Spirit, Your Voice
The Demon is the official newspaper of the students of De Montfort University and publishes fortnightly during term time. It is distributed around campus and to a number of points in Leicester town centre.
We are always looking for writers, photographers and designers for The Demon. Visit the Demon Media office or email Andy Schooledge, Editor-in-chief, to get involved.
Demon TV
Our very own award-winning TV station on campus! All the latest news, gossip and entertainment, as well as documentaries and sports are covered by the station, which is run by students just like you.
You can check out the programmes in Level 1 on the plasma screens, in faculty buildings, on the Demon TV website at www.demontv.co.uk.
