Nominations for the Part Time Officer and Student Trustee positions will be open on Monday 5th March 2012. These positions are voluntary and exist to support the work of the Union and hold the newly elected Executive Officers into account.
They provide a unique opportunity to gain vital transferable skills that will boost your employability and set you apart from the crowd.

There are four Student Trustee positions: Chair of Student Council, Academic Board Representative and 2 open places.
ELECTION TIMETABLE
Nominations open – Monday 5th March, 10 am
Nominations close – Friday 9th March, 12pm
Campaigning week – 12th – 16th March
Candidates’ meeting – (1) Monday 12th March, 5pm
(2) Tuesday 13th March, 12pm
Attendance at one of these meetings is compulsory; you may send a representative in your place should neither time be suitable.
Voting:
Voting opens – Friday 16th March, 10am
Voting closes – Thursday 22nd March, midnight
Results announced - Friday 23rd March, 2pm
Thank you for voting in the DSU Executive Elections 2012. We recieved over 3000 votes for the 5 Executive Officer positions resulting in our highest ever total. The winning candidates for each position are as follows:
